Little Village Records got its name from the Sonny Boy Williamson II song “Little Village”. The song came to my attention from a track titled "L.V.M.F.", from Peter Buck’s S/T debut solo album (Mississippi /Change Records). The song sampled studio banter and the voice of Sonny Boy Williamson II, announcing his song Little Village.
